Features: This year marks the 13th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea. Over the past 13 years, exchanges between the two countries have made significant progress. With geographical proximity and a shared cultural heritage, the people of both nations have a natural affinity. The close cultural ties make it easier for citizens of these two countries to understand and communicate with each other compared to people from other nations. In the past 13 years, friendly relations between the two countries have developed rapidly, with both sides actively engaging in exchanges, seeking friendship, absorbing beneficial cultural essence from each other, and introducing their own excellent traditional and modern cultures to the other and to the world. This has flourished culture and contributed to the advancement of human civilization. As the scope of China-South Korea exchanges continues to expand, the content and forms of these exchanges have also grown. For example, Korean dramas, music, fashion, and cuisine have been deeply loved by the Chinese people, giving rise to the "Hallyu" phenomenon in China. At the same time, traditional Chinese culture has influenced the Korean people, sparking a "Han" trend in South Korea. Under this social background, there has been a surge in interest in learning the Korean language in China. Statistics show that nearly 40 universities in China have established Korean language programs, with over 3,000 students enrolled. In South Korea, 120 universities have opened Chinese language programs or courses, and the number of people learning Chinese has also been increasing. To adapt to this trend and provide convenience for Korean language learners, the editor has compiled the book "237 Essential Sentence Patterns in Korean." It is hoped that this book will meet the readers' needs for improving their Korean language skills. This book is written for Korean language learners. It mainly explains the grammar of 237 common Korean sentence patterns and provides approximately 1,500 short sentences based on frequently used patterns. The book "Korean Language" published by Peking University (compiled in February 2003) has been very helpful to the editor of this book. The editor would like to express gratitude to the authors of that book. At the same time, thanks are given to Zheng Ying, Xu Ling, Fang Meixian, Jin Chunhua, and others for their assistance. Sincerely hope this book will be helpful to all readers. Any shortcomings in this book are kindly requested to be pointed out by the readers. This book has been meticulously recorded on an MP3 disc by Korean friends He Junjiu and Wu Youni, with authentic and pure pronunciation. It is believed that their emotional, role-play readings will help you accurately grasp the pronunciation, intonation, and tone of Korean. Due to the limited knowledge and ability of the editor, there may be omissions, and it is kindly requested that readers and colleagues provide corrections. (Includes MP3 disc)
