Features: The Animation Program of the Department of Visual Arts, School of Film and Television, Tianjin University has been running for over three years. Through the joint efforts of all faculty and students, the program is currently on an upward trend. The overall quality of applicants has been improving year by year, which is reflected not only in the annual professional exams but more importantly, in the works of many students in our department who have received honors under the guidance of our teachers. Students actively participate in the production of various films, the publication of animation magazines, and numerous professional activities through their own studios and clubs. Given that many applicants are unfamiliar with the requirements of our university's animation program and the essential qualities needed for the exam, we have compiled this book for reference and study. Additionally, although the professional design component was canceled in the 2006 exam, we still hope that applicants have a certain foundation in animation. Therefore, we have decided to include an analysis of recent years' professional design exam papers in this book, hoping it will be helpful to the candidates!
