Features: Huang Chunping, born in 1938 in Fuzhou, Fujian. Graduated from the Engineering Mechanics Department of Beijing Institute of Technology with a specialization in overall design of aerospace vehicle warheads in 1964. Served as Deputy Director of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology and Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Committee. Held the position of Chief Scientist for the "860-409" project under the National Technology Plan from 1987 to 1992. Served as Deputy Chief Designer, Deputy Chief Commander, and Chief Commander for rockets such as the "Long March 3," "Long March 2E," and "Long March 2F." Huang Chunping is an expert in aerospace systems engineering management and hypersonic vehicle technology, as well as one of the pioneers in warhead technology. He has won the twice. Received honors such as the National "May Day" Labor Medal, the Outstanding Contribution Award for Manned Spaceflight from the General Armament Department, the Long March Special Award, the "Hero of Manned Spaceflight," and the Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Award from the Qiu Shi Foundation. He is the editor of important works such as "Systems Engineering Management of Launch Vehicles" and "Plan Scheduling Management Handbook." A national expert with outstanding contributions, and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
