The coverage of the Challenger Space Shuttle disaster in 1986 is still regarded as a model of international news reporting today because it has become a landmark event in China's television international news reporting. However, the comprehensive summary of practical experience and corresponding theoretical research in China's television industry has always lagged behind the progress of actual work. Those who have worked in television news know that only young people can adapt to the high level of tension and irregular work schedules. After working for a few years and gaining some experience, most people are limited by time constraints and can only write articles and publish them in professional journals. This is one issue. Another situation is that research interest in international news has previously been mostly focused on introducing and absorbing foreign media experiences, and there are many books on this topic, most of which were published earlier and in larger quantities. However, there has been no comprehensive summary of China's television international news work. This is partly due to the lack of time and partly because the experience accumulation is still insufficient. Therefore, practicality is the feature of this manual.
