Features: This paper aims to demonstrate the possibilities and significance of complexity theory in understanding the development of art and researching its laws. However, it must be noted that complexity thinking is still far from completely replacing linear thinking. As a theory, complexity itself is still in its early stages of development. The maturation and evolution of this theory itself is also a complex issue, and the limitations of complexity theory will also be the limitations of this paper. We firmly believe that no theory can halt human understanding of things, but through the comparison of theories, some perspectives can always be identified as being relatively closer to the reality of things' existence. In fact, human thinking activity is a history of continuously approaching the reality of things' existence, and this process will not change. Therefore, we are full of confidence in complexity theory. This paper is just the beginning of our acceptance of new thinking.
