Features: The financial industry is a key sector of the national economy, and finance is an important branch of economics. In foreign countries, finance departments have been growing larger while economics departments have been shrinking. As a result, some people have begun to say that the concept of finance has surpassed the concept of economics. This is indeed a current trend. Since finance is more practical than economics, more and more students are interested in studying finance. Meanwhile, economics classes have become less attractive due to the increasing amount of teaching content. This is why many finance programs in foreign countries are housed within business schools, and also why Chinese students find it easier to obtain scholarships for finance in the U.S. than for economics. The purpose of compiling and publishing this series of books on the forefront of modern finance theory is to systematically introduce some research findings in modern finance theory, connecting the concepts and methods of academic research abroad with the practice of modern finance theory research in China. This book aims to systematically introduce the content and development of financial econometrics and conduct empirical tests using actual data from the Chinese stock market. Compared to foreign research, domestic research on financial econometrics has made rapid progress in recent years, but there is still a significant gap.
