Love and Hate: Love and hate is an ancient topic, debated for thousands of years with no clear answer. Love contains hate, and hate is intertwined with love. Love and hate are like a pair of adversaries. There is no absolute love or hate; nor is there love or hate without reason. Love, then hate. Embrace life with courage—love boldly, hate boldly—only then will you not lose yourself in the long river of life. Love and hate can only be understood through personal experience.
Right and Wrong: In life, we call actions that achieve our goals "right," and the opposite "wrong." But before achieving our goals, how can we know if our actions are right or wrong? Therefore, there is no absolute right or wrong in the world, only doing and not doing. Yesterday is already past, today is happening, and tomorrow? We don’t know. All we can do is strive to make the most of today, leaving tomorrow to judge right or wrong. If we never act, we’ll never know if it’s right or wrong. Only by acting can we find out. Thus, in life, there is no absolute right or wrong—what matters is taking serious action.
Life and Death: Life always ends in death; yet death sometimes means eternal life. As the poet Zhang Kechia once summarized: "Some people are alive but already dead; some people are dead but still alive." This is the dialectics of life and death. Only by reflecting on life from the perspective of death can we truly understand it; only by examining life through the lens of death can we fully grasp its meaning. Discussing life in isolation often leads to superficiality, just as Plato said: "To seek knowledge is to study life and death."
