The twenty-six volumes of "Conglu" and the ten volumes of "Yulu" were compiled by Wu Zhenyu of the Qing Dynasty. Wu Zhenyu (1792-1870), styled Zhongyun and styled Yifu, was a native of Qiantang, Zhejiang. His study was named Huanyangji Zhai. He passed the imperial examination in the 19th year of the Jiaqing reign and was appointed as a compiler in the Hanlin Academy. He once served as a compiler, supervisor, and proofreader in the Imperial Edicts Compilation Office. His works include "Huayiguan Shilù Cilù Wenlüe," "Qianyu," "Qianxing Jicheng," and "Hanyang Huoshu Jishu" of the Qing Dynasty. "Yangji Zhai Conglu" is one of his most diligent and heartfelt works. This book primarily focuses on regulations and institutions, supplemented by the palaces, gardens, and courtyards of the imperial court, as well as interesting anecdotes, imperial examinations, military affairs, food and clothing, book compilation and publication, entertainment, and celebrations, providing a relatively comprehensive depiction of the Qing court. The ten volumes of "Yulu" not only supplement the imperial court's anecdotes but also record the customs of Sichuan and Yunnan, famous scenic spots in various regions, literary tales, and elegant discussions among scholars. The entire book is of great reference value for understanding and researching the social, political, historical, and cultural aspects of the Qing Dynasty.
