Features: The "Transportation Intermodal Stamp Tax" was widely used in commercial, civil, and other fields during the more than three years after China's victory in the War of Resistance. The design of the tax stamp features transportation tools such as ships, airplanes, cars, and trains. Although this set of Republican-era tax stamps has numerous designs, their issuance and use were highly standardized, with records available for every step from the bidding, production, and inspection to the distribution and sales of the stamps. The Transportation Map Stamp is the only set of Republican-era tax stamps that were used as postage stamps. This book compiles the essence of author You Zhenjie's decades of collecting and researching Transportation Intermodal Stamp Taxes, as well as his findings and insights from years of dedicated research. It also provides a detailed catalog of Transportation Intermodal Stamp Tax stamps and current market trends. Another key feature of the "Transportation Intermodal Stamp Tax" is its unique perspective, which reflects China's economic and financial situation after the victory in the War of Resistance and during the period leading up to the founding of the People's Republic of China. This period is the weakest link in the study of Chinese financial history, with scarce historical records. The widespread use of stamp taxes and their role in daily economic life provide abundant material and evidence. The book and the accompanying database CD-ROM include and organize a large collection of Republican-era government archives preserved on the mainland and in Taiwan, with many materials being exposed for the first time. In this regard, its value is immeasurable. This book can also serve as a reference for economic history research, providing readers with insights into economics, society, history, tax research, and government officials.
