Waste name novels

Features: Fei Ming's life was lonely and uneventful. His literary activities, apart from co-founding a magazine titled Camel Grass (1930) with Feng Zhi, were primarily centered on teaching. It is said that the course "Women's Perspective on Li Yishan's Poetry" he taught at Peking University was forced to be discontinued due to only three students enrolling. His students recalled that Fei Ming's teaching style was essentially self-asked and self-answered, leaving listeners often bewildered. Fei Ming had an eccentric appearance and an introverted personality, rarely socializing and often displaying strange behaviors, such as writing English with a calligraphy brush. However, his thoughts and creations were full of twists and turns, brimming with change and fluctuation. He began with Confucianism, then turned to Taoism, later embraced Marxism, and believed that Buddhist philosophy was in harmony with Marxism, fantasizing about blending Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, and Marxism into one. Fei Ming was a highly individualistic novelist, essayist, and poet in the history of modern Chinese literature, as well as a renowned stylist. In his early years, he pioneered modern Chinese rural novels alongside Lu Xun and attempted to introduce the style of Tang Dynasty quatrain writing into fiction, becoming one of the most important founders of modern Chinese lyrical novels. His writing style influenced a group of writers, including Shen Congwen, Wang Zengqi, and He Qifang. It is indeed true that Fei Ming's works can be difficult and obscure to read. Even Zhou Zuoren admitted while reading Fei Ming's novels, "I may not understand more than others." However, based on my experience, the obscurity of Fei Ming's works is not something to be feared. The key lies in finding the "creative path" of the author, understanding the origins of his style, and familiarizing oneself with his techniques and narrative methods. Moreover, not every one of Fei Ming's novels is difficult to read.
