Features: Joy for You and Me. Thank you all for supporting Peng Peng's novels. For me, writing novels is entertainment, entertaining everyone and themselves. If readers find them enjoyable, it would naturally bring great pleasure to the writer. So, if you want to praise me, don’t hesitate—your affirmation is my motivation to keep writing. I graduated from a prestigious normal university with a major in Chinese Education. If everything went smoothly, I might have become a middle school Chinese teacher and homeroom teacher for some students. However, I found teaching life too boring and didn’t want to crush those poor, innocent (young sprouts). So, I gave up on that idea. I also don’t know which story everyone likes. When you have time, let’s have a vote with male and female pigs to see which season you prefer in the stories of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. —My E-MAIL: someone@ sina.com. I hope we can stay in touch more often and also welcome your good ideas to help us create more wonderful stories together. Once again, thank you all for your support. You should know that Peng Peng started writing for the reason of weaving beautiful dreams. During our youthful years, we had to take exams, do countless scary exercises and homework—so frustrating it felt like hitting a wall. If we could leave behind beautiful dreams to lighten people’s minds, that would also be a kind of joy. Hua Qi is an ordinary girl from a single-parent family. She has a goofy dad, a "buddy" she grew up fighting with, and a girlfriend who often bickers with her. One day, a "white horse prince" transfer student comes to her class, disrupting her (originally peaceful school life). The transfer student treats her differently, and Hua Qi transforms from an "innocent" (joker) to a "public figure" envied by other girls. On one side is her childhood "classmate," and on the other is the "melancholy prince" who stirs endless waves in her heart. Although Hua Qi’s heart leans toward the latter from the start, the twists of youth leave the story’s ending filled with a faint sadness. This group of young people—Bai Xiaochi, who lives elegantly in a completely different world; Shen Du, who is unrestrained and wild; Hua Qi, who is lazy and cheerful; and Qin Xiaolou, who is calm and meticulous—meet during their youthful years and stir up tender emotions deep inside. They yearn for true love, chase happiness, and move step by step toward their dreams. Sour or sweet, bitter or sour—all becomes a unique secret cherished in their hearts, ripening over time into the most beautiful memories in life. It’s the story of a prince and a Cinderella, the story of a useless scholar and a mountain bandit, the story of Dong Shi and Hamlet, the story of a fire-breathing dragon and a foolish frog, the story of a fox spirit and a divine dragon...
