Features: This series of books was published in accordance with the new national curriculum standards for primary and secondary education issued by the Ministry of Education of China, and is designed to complement the new edition of the nine-year compulsory education six-year primary school textbooks in Beijing (approved by the National Textbook Review Committee in 2002). To help students strengthen their foundational knowledge and basic skills, facilitate parents in providing effective guidance for their children's studies, and assist teachers in aligning with teaching plans and progress while closely integrating classroom teaching practices, we have specially invited experienced teachers who participated in the writing of Beijing's textbooks, possess many years of teaching and research experience, have in-depth understanding of primary school teaching methods, and are well-versed in the current spirit of educational reform to meticulously compile this series of practice books. The series consists of 24 books, with each academic year divided into an upper and lower volume. The series features the following:
1. It is compatible with the new edition of the nine-year compulsory education six-year primary school textbooks in Beijing and our newly compiled parent guidance series, "Practice Book for Chinese" and "Practice Book for Math," enabling students to receive multi-angle, comprehensive, time-efficient, and effective reinforcement training.
2. Based on the timeless teaching principle of "reviewing the old to learn the new, progressing step by step," it emphasizes the training of foundational knowledge and basic skills, focuses on key and difficult points, provides hints and guidance for these points, and includes explanations and solutions for typical problems in the answer key.
3. It strives to cultivate students' analytical and thinking abilities, aiming for one problem to serve multiple purposes, broaden their thinking, and enhance their comprehensive application of foundational knowledge.
4. The practice methods are flexible and diverse. Each lesson in every book includes exercises, which are categorized as basic, intermediate, and slightly more challenging, progressing from simple to complex. Each unit concludes with a unit self-assessment, and there is also a final comprehensive self-assessment, accompanied by answers to some of the exercises.
Our goal is to enable students to review, consolidate, and comprehensively apply the Chinese and math knowledge they have learned through various forms of practice. This will help them initially master the general principles of using language and mathematics, lay a solid foundation for reading, writing, and mathematical calculation skills, and significantly improve their academic performance.
