Features: "Three Feathers" Volume 6 has once again greeted readers, having undergone five years of teaching and tutoring practice and five rounds of higher vocational college entrance examinations. The series has initially gained recognition from both teachers and students. This year, before organizing the writing of this series, the editorial committee of the series conducted the following five tasks:
1. Investigated and studied the teaching situation of the new unified textbooks and the actual learning conditions and needs of students.
2. Collected and analyzed opinions and suggestions from readers (teachers and students) on the series, studied the structure and characteristics of similar books.
3. Summarized and analyzed the patterns of higher vocational college entrance examination question setting, scoring, and marking over the past five years.
4. Investigated and learned the basic intentions of revising the 2005 examination syllabus based on the new textbooks.
5. Summarized the authors' practical experience and lessons learned from pre-examination tutoring.
The series continues to adhere to the guiding principle that knowledge is the foundation, ability is the focus, higher vocational college entrance exams are the goal, and improving the quality of all students is the fundamental objective. When writing the series, special attention was given to:
- Sticking closely to the higher vocational college entrance examination syllabus, focusing on the actual learning needs of vocational high schools and secondary vocational schools, and meeting the needs of current and past secondary vocational school graduates participating in the higher vocational college entrance exams.
- Building a solid foundation, being detailed yet not overly complex, and ensuring practicality.
- Emphasizing problem-solving thinking, making it straightforward yet effective, and ensuring cleverness without difficulty.
- Focusing on the overall student body, setting moderate difficulty for key points, and tailoring instruction to achieve practical results in higher vocational college entrance exams.
The series covers three subjects: Mathematics, Chinese, and English. Each subject consists of three volumes: "Learning Guide," "Workbook," and "Mock Exams." Among them, the Mathematics "Mock Exams" include unit "Achievement Tests" and "Ability Tests."
