Features: Zhang Ziyi is the most recognized Chinese actress in the international film industry, as said by Zhang Yimou. Indeed, from her rapid rise in China to her stunning performances at the Oscars and Cannes in just a few years. Nurtured by renowned directors, she enjoyed youthful fame, constant scandals—whether you like it or not, she was a superstar, and that's a fact. A young woman stepping onto a grand stage must endure scrutiny, praise, and criticism from all sides. Of course, this is also the dramatic life she must face—it's like a banquet she was destined to win.
