Features: A poet, a rogue, a man who once was talented and brilliant, but also once reckless and debauched; a witness who once had and once lost. Recalling the golden age of China's music industry, leaving a page of witness for history, and writing an elegy for youth. Youth has passed, but the passion remains. That was the youth of original Chinese music, the golden age of Chinese musicians. The music scene of the 1990s was filled with ideals, passion, ambition, innocence, and recklessness. They were young and arrogant, full of pride; they were innocent and sensitive, self-admiring. They scoffed at all rules, despised all authority; they unleashed, burst, raged, and wandered. They had nothing except music. Many years have passed, they have grown old, their sharpness has faded, their ideals have vanished, and their passion has long been empty. But deep in their hearts, what is engraved remains those genuine emotions, broken tenderness, memories of dazzling fireworks, and nights filled with stars.
