Features: Chinese 100 is a beginner and intermediate Chinese textbook designed for Chinese departments at universities in Arabic-speaking countries and similar educational institutions. The beginner-level textbook also caters to the needs of social learners in the Arab region for learning Chinese. The purpose of the textbook is to provide comprehensive training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for learners through the teaching of linguistic elements, communicative functions, and related cultures, thereby cultivating learners' ability to use Chinese for communication. Each grade consists of two volumes, totaling eight volumes. Volumes 1 to 4 are beginner-level textbooks, while volumes 5 to 8 are intermediate-level textbooks. Each set of two textbooks is accompanied by one Teacher's Manual. Volumes 1 to 4 are also accompanied by audio tapes for teacher use. Completing volumes 1 to 4 can meet the basic needs of daily life, study, and social interaction, and generally meets the standard for entering Chinese science, engineering, and medical schools. Completing volumes 5 to 8 can meet the needs of daily life, study, social interaction, and work within a certain scope, and meets the standard for entering Chinese humanities and social sciences schools.
