Features: This atlas consists of 5 introductory maps, 34 maps of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and special administrative regions, and 34 maps of central urban districts at the provincial level, totaling 73 maps. The administrative divisions of provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and special administrative regions are based on the "Brief Atlas of Administrative Divisions of the People's Republic of China" and the "Dynamic Atlas of Up-to-date Surveying and Mapping Data" edited and published by the National Basic Geographic Information Center. Each provincial, regional, and municipal map is accompanied by a brief textual description. The transportation routes within the regions are compiled based on newly published transportation maps, transportation atlases, transportation tourism maps, as well as field-collected surveying and mapping data. They mainly include railways (including under-construction railways), expressways (including under-construction expressways), national highways and their designations, provincial highways, county and township roads, etc. The classification of highways is detailed and clear.
