Features: The princesses are the most vibrant colors in history, and the princesses in this book are from official historical records. My princesses are all brave girls, proactive girls, and strong girls. Especially at the moments that determine their fate, they all display extraordinary courage and wisdom—even though some efforts are, some are failures, and some are completely hopeless. They truly deserve to be Chinese princesses! There are princesses who achieve their desired love through effort and luck: Ningyu Princess, who fell in love with a flute-playing handsome boy, and Pingyang Princess, who finally entered the wedding chamber after a long sibling love story. There are innocent and unconventional princesses: Cartoony little Danyang Princess, Xiangyang Princess who openly disguises herself as a commoner, Yonghe Princess who dedicates herself to beauty and skincare, "comedy actress" Wei Kingdom Princess who disguises herself as a ugly woman, and Mingyue Princess who competes in martial arts and wrestles with men. There are wise princesses: Jiaoren Princess and Zheng in the chaotic times, and Wanchun Princess, the wife of a diplomat. There are fiery princesses: Nan Kang Princess who captures the "whore woman," and Pengcheng Princess who seeks the emperor's help in a heavy rain. These are the legendary stories of seventy-eight Chinese princesses. To ensure completeness, relative completeness, or as complete as possible, the material in this book is mainly based on official historical records, with some references to unofficial histories—in the author's view, as a history of people, there is no such thing as unofficial history; in fact, they are all official history.
