Features: This book is divided into eight parts based on commonly used different minimally invasive techniques. Each part has a chapter as an overview, mainly introducing the occurrence, development, basic principles, instruments and equipment, as well as common technical issues of that minimally invasive technique. The remaining chapters are organized by surgical organs, with each section presenting a specific surgical method. The content focuses on indications, contraindications, surgical techniques, preoperative and postoperative management, and prevention and treatment of complications. Each surgical method is accompanied by diagrams and surgical photos, aiming to make the content easy to understand. Minimally invasive techniques are developing rapidly and are constantly evolving. Although we have strived to collect as many new technologies and methods as possible, the content of this book is still far from complete. It may not include many valuable minimally invasive techniques, and some methods may not be fully mature and need further refinement in practice.
