Features: The purpose of this series of books is to provide martial arts enthusiasts from all walks of life with a means for appreciation, study, and reference, aiming to promote the national martial arts, preserve the essence of Chinese culture, and ensure that future learners do not lose the authentic tradition. Most of the original books were published during the Republic of China period, and the contributors were all direct inheritors of various martial arts schools. They followed the meticulous techniques left behind by their predecessors, fearing that they might be lost over time, so they compiled decades of experience in practicing martial arts and shared it with the world. The content of the series is rich, the principles are well-founded, the language is simple, the explanations are detailed, and it is accompanied by action illustrations, making it an excellent resource for learners. To make it even more convenient for martial arts enthusiasts to study and read the ancient martial arts texts, we have made some improvements to the series: we have simplified the text throughout the books; we have attempted to punctuate the sentences; and based on modern reading habits, we have converted the processed text into horizontal layout, while also publishing it alongside the original version for easy comparison.
