Features: The most mysterious culture in China is undoubtedly the I Ching and Traditional Chinese Medicine. One represents the Chinese cosmic philosophy system, while the other represents the Chinese human body science system. Both are guided by the dominant thought of the harmony between heaven and humanity, a core concept of Chinese culture, showcasing the wisdom of Chinese civilization. This wisdom has inspired the innovation of generations of TCM practitioners. The I Ching is the driving force behind the development of TCM, and the integration of medical and I Ching theory has contributed to the growth and prosperity of TCM. For example, the classic TCM text Huangdi Neijing is a treasure trove of the integration of medicine and the I Ching. The four renowned medical masters of the Jin and Yuan dynasties were all adept at the I Ching and exemplified the integration of medicine and the I Ching. Li Dongyuan was particularly representative, establishing the Spleen and Stomach School under the guidance of medical and I Ching theory. The innovations in Ming and Qing dynasty medicine were also guided by medical and I Ching theory, with the common saying, "all explained through the I Ching." Zhang Jingyue’s influential work Medical Interpretations of the I Ching had a profound impact, and Wu Jutong wrote the immortal masterpiece Treatise on Warm Diseases Distinguished by Differentiation under the guidance of medical and I Ching theory. Tang Zonghai summarized the medical and I Ching theories of his predecessors in his book Comprehensive Interpretations of Medicine and the I Ching. Especially noteworthy is how generations of medical practitioners used medical and I Ching theory to elaborate on the theory of the Gate of Life, with water, fire, and earth, leading to a vibrant and diverse debate that greatly enriched the theory. The purpose of compiling this series of books is to elucidate this wisdom, enlighten readers' minds, and promote the new development of TCM in the 21st century, spreading it worldwide. Therefore, it is named The Wisdom of the I Ching and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
