Features: This book is a research outcome of our university's "Education Serving the Hong Kong and Macao Region" initiative. While reviewing the manuscript, I found that the book demonstrates a strong sense of regional service. It closely integrates our university's education in Hong Kong and Macao with the implementation of the "One Country, Two Systems" principle and the cultivation of talent for the special administrative regions. It also connects with the Greater Bay Area collaboration. This awareness embodies the concept of service. Our university has always emphasized serving the community, and we have always been clear about our regional service, which is to serve the economic construction and social development of Guangdong Province. At the same time, we have continuously enhanced our radiation capacity to the Greater Bay Area and improved our influence in Hong Kong, Macao, and Southeast Asia based on our educational strengths and regional characteristics. In the future, when we carry out special project construction, we will continue to firmly establish the educational philosophy of serving the Hong Kong and Macao community and make greater contributions to the implementation of the "One Country, Two Systems" principle in Hong Kong and Macao. The team members of the project worked hard to write this book. In addition to collecting and organizing historical materials, they, under the leadership of Vice President Wu Yingmin, conducted field investigations to Hong Kong and Macao. In a short period, they visited our alumni, cooperative units, and relevant government departments, gathering a large amount of firsthand materials, enriching the content of the book, expanding connections, and providing a decision-making basis for our university's future education in Hong Kong and Macao. These achievements are encouraging and the results of the teaching evaluation work.
