As they split up to catch it, the kangaroo Roo surprisingly discovers the Heffalump first. But to everyone's surprise, it turns out to be a lost, playful elephant named Baloo. Roo quickly realizes that Baloo is nothing like the threatening Heffalump they had imagined. Similarly, the elephant family also keeps their distance from Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. Soon enough, Roo and Baloo become good friends and work together to overcome the fear in their families and friends.
