To promote the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and introduce the profound and extensive classical Chinese literary works to young friends and readers of classical Chinese, we have carefully selected and reorganized versions, drawing on the strengths of various schools, and given them new interpretations and perspectives. We continuously extend the connotation and expand the extension, finally compiling the "Treasures of Chinese Classical National Literature" series, with 12 volumes successfully published.
The treasure trove of Chinese classical masterpieces covers a vast field, contains rich content, and includes a wide variety of works. It is far beyond our ability to comprehensively collect and preserve everything, so we have primarily collected works that have been (long-lasting) and widely recognized by contemporary society and literary history, aiming to make the excellent accessible and understandable to modern readers.
For this purpose, we have focused on improving the selection, editing, annotation, and commentary of the works. We have provided detailed annotations for difficult and obscure passages, highlighting the themes and showcasing the distinctive features. We believe that the "Treasures of Chinese Classical Literature" series will help readers with basic reading abilities to deepen their understanding of the original classical works, ensuring that every reading is beneficial.
The organization and positioning of this series aim to help readers achieve in-depth reading, while fully considering their reading interests and financial capacity. We emphasize the popularization and accessibility of classical literary works, removing some chapters to fully embody the purpose of relaxed and entertaining reading.
