Features: In fact, this "Mr. Science" is not modern science in the strict sense, but rather elements of modern science that people have selectively chosen and reinterpreted to critique traditional Chinese thought, particularly Confucianism and folk beliefs that have long dominated the Chinese people. It was intended as a tool to build a new national spirit. "Mr. Science" is a Chinese phenomenon. To allow more people to experience the vivid lectures from Peking University's "Mr. Science" platform and to create a sense of being present at the live event while reading, Dr. Zhou Yanling, in collaboration with the author, organized the lectures in a different format. They abandoned the written scripts and had postgraduate students compile the lecture recordings from the past two years into spoken-word form.
