Features: This book is aligned with the requirements of the Ministry of Education's nine-year compulsory education Physics Curriculum Standards and is synchronized with the Beijing Normal University Press Physics textbook (curriculum standard edition). Each section of the book includes the following columns:
- Inquiry Objectives: Outline the knowledge and ability goals, process and method goals, and emotional, attitude, and value goals for each section.
- Key and Difficult Points: Clearly explain the key and challenging concepts in the textbook, helping students stay focused and targeted during their learning process.
- Inquiry Guidance: Divided into three parts:
- Physics Palace: Integrates and summarizes the key points of each section, using vivid charts to aid comprehension. The content is easy to understand and learn. Corresponding examples are provided for each key point, focusing on analyzing why a particular solution is used, as well as the methods, shortcuts, and common pitfalls for such problems. Learning through examples achieves the effect of "one serving ten" with twice the result.
- Inquiry Activities: Uses real-life physics and technology as materials, guiding students through simple problem investigations. This allows students to experience the scientific process, grasp scientific methods, and be exposed to scientific values. Through the inquiry process, students experience both success and failure, helping them understand physics and the mysteries of nature, society, and life.
- Chat Room: Features interactions between Pàng Pàng, Lè Lè, and teachers, connecting science, technology, and society (STS). By analyzing physics-related problems in students' daily lives and society, the chat room expands students' horizons, helps them understand the development of science, and master physics concepts and methods. This broadens students' problem-solving perspectives and makes their solutions more reasonable.
- Happy Meal: Provides comprehensive ability tests for each section. Students reinforce knowledge and skills through "Guess and Discover" and "Practice and Master." They strengthen process and method goals through "Think and Explore." The activities "Try and Experience" and "Read and Reflect" further enrich emotional, attitude, and value goals.
- Chapter Test Questions: Designed with innovative and clever questions. The questions emphasize association, design, open-ended, and practical tasks, reflecting inquiry and innovation. Answers are provided for all exercises, and appropriate hints are given for some open-ended questions.
