Many friends working in architectural design and real estate sales are well aware that environmental concepts significantly influence people's decisions to purchase property. Choosing a auspicious location, colloquially known as finding a "favored spot," is a wisdom crystallized from thousands of years of Chinese living culture and its interaction with the environment. Therefore, from a modern perspective, Feng Shui can indeed be considered a study of environmental relationships.
Humans exist between heaven and earth, closely connected with nature and the environment. Among all environments, the home is the one we are most intimately related to. In a person's lifetime, they spend more than half of their time at home and in the office. Therefore, choosing a house with a suitable energy field and internal/external flow is extremely important. This concept is actually quite scientific and not at all superstitious. In addition to the external environment, the layout and orientation of the interior spaces also affect us. Take the bedroom, where we spend most of our days sleeping, for example—the orientation of the bed is particularly significant. The head of the bed should not be near a window because the light directly affects sleep, and prolonged exposure can lead to nervous exhaustion. If we are aware of this beforehand, we can avoid placing the bed incorrectly and prevent unnecessary illnesses.
Although technology is advancing rapidly and constantly changing people's lives, our understanding of the principles of cosmic operation remains very limited. Despite this, when we observe the heavens and all things on earth with a calm mind, we can easily perceive the wonders of nature—the grass, trees, mountains, and rivers can all evoke different feelings and insights. Learning from nature and understanding its workings can bring us abundant rewards and enlightenment.
The feeling that "intangible forces often surpass tangible ones" can be said to be a profound experience from years of life. Many people, events, and things experience fluctuations in success and failure, yet most prefer to analyze their tangible causal relationships while ignoring the intangible influences. For example, while family finances are important, the atmosphere at home plays a more dominant role in the family's life. Although a company's products affect its profits, its internal corporate culture and external image are what truly determine its development.
Intangible forces are indeed valuable, but tangible elements often subtly alter the atmosphere and energy field. Understanding how to achieve a harmonious balance between the tangible and the intangible is the environmental wisdom we need to grasp. In the book The Art of a Prosperous Home, we focus on how to choose an ideal and comfortable living environment. This book explains the interactions between office/business environments and tangible aspects like career, health, and family, as well as intangible factors, in simple and easy-to-understand terms. It guides readers in selecting the best office environment and design, ensuring that their careers progress harmoniously in all aspects. It helps you seize opportunities, master wealth, stand out in a competitive environment, and create a perfect, healthy, and successful life.
