Features: édouard Manet (1832-1883), a renowned 19th-century French painter and the founder of Impressionism. Manet boldly abandoned the intermediate tones of traditional painting, opting for vibrant colors, which gave his works a clear, harmonious, and minimalist style. For example, "Luncheon on the Grass" was a bold experiment in seeking color contrasts that caused a sensation at the time, while "Olympia," with its nude female figure, shocked and shook the timid classical tastes of the youth art education curriculum. This is the first set of nationwide art popularization reading materials. It is a key practice in the journey of an art life and offers an intimate encounter with the master. édouard Manet (1832—1883) was a famous French painter and the pioneer of Impressionism. His famous paintings, such as "Portrait of Zola," "Olympia," and "The Boy with the Pipe," are well-known and beloved by the Chinese people. The French writer émile Zola is also widely recognized in China. The literary master Zola, with his naturalistic philosophy and style, combined with his keen eye as an art critic, vividly describes the personality, artistic style, and works of the great painter Manet, enabling readers to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Manet's style and works, as well as a broader insight into the origins and legacy of the entire Impressionist movement. This art album selects Manet's timeless paintings, each accompanied by information such as the title, commentary, creation date, material, dimensions, artist, collector, and influence index, making it extremely valuable. The album features innovative design, exquisite text, and an introductory section titled "Getting Closer to Western Painting," which provides readers with knowledge about Western oil painting, appreciation, and collection, as well as guidance on how to use this book.
