In the German-occupied Polish Jewish ghetto, people had a deep impression of a little girl – Roma Ligocka – who often wore a bright red strawberry-colored top, which stood out sharply against the surrounding dark clothing. Fifty years later, the artist Roma attended the premiere of the famous film "Schindler's List," directed by the renowned filmmaker Steven Spielberg, in Krakow, Poland. Suddenly, she realized that the only highlight of the movie – the "Red Dress Girl" – was herself. Thus, Roma Ligocka embarked on a journey of recalling her past experiences. Roma clearly remembers that her childhood was filled with fear, the glaring black boots, the sudden arrival of executions, her mother's silent weeping, and her father's disappearance.
