Regarding the format of this book, one point needs to be explained: In the study of modern Chinese language, different researchers use inconsistent terminology. At the same time, the ways they cite examples also vary. When introducing these research findings, this book preserves the original terminology and citation methods used by the researchers, without imposing uniformity.
