Features: Currently, there is a high enthusiasm for learning ethnic musical instruments, but the phenomenon of rushing and forcing progress in performance is very common. Through years of professional playing and teaching, I have a deep understanding; when guiding beginners in learning pipa performance, it is not only necessary to improve their technical skills but also to pay attention to cultivating their interest. This helps beginners no longer see practicing as a dull and strenuous process of mastering techniques, but also as a relaxed and enjoyable recreational activity. To enable beginners to grasp the various styles of music more extensively and to popularize the richly colored tunes of different schools from various regions, I have carefully selected and compiled some classic modern and contemporary Chinese and foreign pieces in this book. This collection consists of two parts: Chinese music and foreign music. Its prominent features are: first, the pieces are accompanied by tips, enabling a quick understanding of the content, training objectives, and technical requirements of the music. Second, each piece introduces a new technical difficulty while also consolidating previously learned techniques and rhythms. The two parts are designed to progress from simple to complex and in a step-by-step manner, allowing beginners to review the old while learning the new.
