Features: To meet the current needs of graduate students and relevant scholars in learning and researching cognitive linguistics, the author has compiled 25 selected articles on cognitive linguistics published in recent years into this collection. It aims to encompass the main contents of cognitive linguistics as much as possible and is uniformly organized according to teaching needs, serving as a reference for domestic peers and graduate students. To ensure the completeness, teachability, and learnability of this collection, the author has divided the 25 articles into eight chapters, providing a general introduction at the beginning of each chapter. Additionally, appropriate adjustments have been made to the content, and the format has been uniformly processed. Some repetitive sentences have been revised. This collection is divided into eight chapters, with a brief introduction to the main content of each chapter as follows. See the discussion at the beginning of each chapter for details.
Chapter 1, General Introduction. This chapter includes three articles that provide an overall discussion on the brief history, main sources, tentative definitions, main contents, philosophical foundations, and basic viewpoints of cognitive linguistics.
Chapter 2, Experienceness of Language. This chapter includes five articles that discuss the important property of the experienceness of language from various perspectives. Taking this property as a starting point and experience philosophy as the theoretical basis, it explains the origins of language at the lexical, morphological, and syntactic levels. It also compares and discusses the relevant discussions on experience philosophy by Chinese scholars.
