Features: Total Normalized Productive Maintenance (TnPM), which is a production and equipment maintenance system with the goals of overall equipment efficiency and complete effective production rate, uses comprehensive preventive maintenance as its carrier, employee behavior standards as its process, and full participation of all personnel as its foundation. TnPM systematically designs equipment maintenance and repair for enterprises, proposing the SOON model; it establishes a five-six framework and a five-level evaluation standardization system; it also introduces the FROG model for employee growth, all of which are contributions to the development of TPM. In recent years, TnPM has been independently promoted and successfully implemented in multiple industries in China, including steel, petroleum, chemical, automotive, home appliances, papermaking, cigarette rolling, construction, and mechanical processing. It has not only improved equipment management levels but also achieved significant economic benefits. This volume is the eighth in the "National Normalized Productive Maintenance (TnPM) Series," which primarily introduces the implementation of equipment inspection systems in TnPM management, including the PDCA cycle of inspection operations and the design and application of inspection forms, through numerous practical examples. The content includes an introduction to inspections, preparation for inspections, inspection plans, inspection organization and division of labor, inspection implementation, inspection performance appraisal, equipment failure tendency management, and the fixed repair model. The appendix provides materials on inspection personnel training and examples of inspection operations. This volume is suitable for equipment management personnel and engineering technicians engaged in equipment maintenance in various types of enterprises.
