Why are there always deformed children?

Patient's question:

I became pregnant in April 2004 with less than 30 days of gestation and experienced bleeding. The color was mostly very light bean-paste-like, accompanied by some small clots. I was hospitalized for over a month, receiving injections and medication, and after three months, an obstetric ultrasound revealed anencephaly, leading to a miscarriage. However, I am now pregnant again at 40 days, and at 24 days, I started experiencing continuous leakage of, just like the last time. The doctor advised rest and fetal preservation, but unlike others who had no more leakage after resting, I still have it. I am very worried that this might be another. If it's not good, I don't want to wait until three months because the suffering would be greater and I can't handle the mental stress!! I saw this on your website.

Doctor's answer:

Check it out. Generally, if a pregnant woman contracts rubella (three-month measles) in the early stages of pregnancy, the baby she gives birth to may have various birth defects such as microcephaly, cataracts, hearing impairment (deafness), and heart malformations. Sometimes, it is not discovered until several months after the baby is born that the child has birth defects. This is because the newborn has been exposed to chronic viral infection while in the mother's womb.
