The content covers all Chinese religious music literature except for Taoist music, including only articles and monographs, while examples of scores and collections of scores are excluded.

4. Articles published in multiple sources are not all listed; only the earliest publication is recorded.
5. Publications from mainland China after the liberation are generally not marked with a place of publication, while those before the liberation and from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan are usually marked with a place of publication.
6. Some important articles are accompanied by summaries, with varying lengths as needed.
7. Selected articles with academic value are presented in original form and arranged chronologically.
8. The Monographs section follows the same principles as the Articles section in terms of subpart organization, catalog arrangement, summary writing, and selection criteria. If a subpart is missing, it is not listed.
