The greatest feature of this book is that, based on the designed questionnaire, it conducted extensive and in-depth surveys on the practice status of criminal defense lawyers among nearly 700 lawyers. Based on the summary and analysis of the questionnaire, it conducts research and analysis on the six major problems encountered in the criminal defense activities of lawyers, and draws a series of new conclusions. During the research process, the researchers fully utilized the reports and data of empirical surveys, and the comments and conclusions drawn are as much as possible based on empirical analysis. The book consists of two parts: one is six modified research reports, each completed by one defense lawyer and one doctoral or postdoctoral student; the other is the questionnaire and questionnaire analysis report that reflects the collective wisdom of the research team.
