Their father enjoyed raising parrots and taught them to speak. Once, in a playful moment, he jokingly promised that the parrot would marry his younger son, Gan Jue. Soon after, their father passed away, and the parrot also broke its string and flew away. Twenty years later, Gan Jue was still unmarried, and Gan Yu was deeply troubled. Gan Jue accidentally met a girl named A Ying and fell deeply in love with her. The two quickly became inseparable. When A Ying entered the household, she was eloquent and charming, and everyone in the family liked her. However, soon after, strange events began to occur in the house, and everyone suspected that A Ying had transformed into a monster. They wanted to drive her out, but Gan Jue had no idea what to do. A Ying flew away in anger. It turned out that she was the very parrot from earlier. Later, a military uprising occurred in Luling, and both Qin Jier and A Ying saved the lives of the Gan brothers.
