Features: The new round of educational reform, curriculum reform, and examination reform has led to significant changes in China's university admission system, especially in the reform of examination content, which further emphasizes the assessment of candidates' innovative abilities, practical skills, and comprehensive qualities. How to scientifically and effectively explore the patterns of the new college entrance examination (Gaokao) to achieve the best educational outcomes with the least input, and to secure outstanding Gaokao scores to gain admission to key universities, is not only the dream of countless students but also the goal pursued by educators nationwide. In response to this, our school has once again collaborated with Longmen Publishing House to scientifically plan and organize the meticulous writing and publication of this comprehensive review series, "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" and "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination."
This series is our first collaboration with Longmen Publishing House, a national-level publishing house, to publish a middle and high school entrance examination review series. It is meticulously crafted by the teaching staff of Qidong Middle School, who have created the "educational miracle" of Qidong Middle School, systematically summarizing the intellectual achievements of our third-tier teaching staff in teaching and review guidance over the years, especially since the "3+X" Gaokao reform. This series effectively addresses the hot educational issue of how to scientifically and effectively improve students' knowledge and ability levels and exam-taking skills under the new Gaokao system. It also enables the broader dissemination and utilization of our school's high-quality educational resources, allowing teachers and students from other schools nationwide to share in Qidong Middle School's "Real Practice." At the same time, we strive to contribute our expertise to the field of basic education in China and the new round of curriculum and examination reforms.
During the actual writing process, the two rounds for the middle school entrance examination and the three rounds for the Gaokao are aligned with the teaching practices and review schedules of junior and senior high schools. The "Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" consists of two rounds, each covering six subjects: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, and politics. The "Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination" consists of three rounds, each covering nine subjects: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history, and geography. The third round also includes two comprehensive volumes: "Comprehensive for Liberal Arts" and "Comprehensive for Science." Each subject in the first round is divided into two parts: A and B. It can be said that this series is an invaluable practical guide for middle and high school entrance examination preparation.
Among the three rounds:
- The first round (Basic Edition): Written chapter by chapter or unit by unit, with a focus on interpreting key points from the new "Examination Guidelines" for the middle school entrance examination, accompanied by a wealth of detailed examples.
- The second round (Ability Edition): Divided into thematic lectures and intensive training, primarily aimed at cultivating and enhancing students' comprehensive abilities, application skills, and innovative thinking, supplemented by interdisciplinary comprehensive topic lectures and training.
- The third round (Final Sprint Edition): Designed for students preparing for mock exams and final from April to May. Each volume meticulously includes 15 mock exam papers for the middle school entrance examination and the Gaokao, scientifically constructing a new platform for training aligned with the "three examination directions" of middle school, Gaokao, and key points, achieving a zero-distance encounter with the 2006 middle school and Gaokao exams.
As the saying goes, "Through countless hardships, the gold will eventually surface." The sample questions and predictions for the middle school and Gaokao in this series are scientifically and rigorously selected from a vast pool of questions, combined with the latest original questions created by our school's teachers. They are of extremely high value, authoritative, guiding, and targeted. The purpose is to help candidates accurately grasp problem-solving patterns, improve their review efficiency, and enhance their exam-taking skills. This is also the aspiration of all the editorial committee members of "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" and "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination."
