Patient's question:
I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried it might affect fertility, and I also feel extremely cold and afraid of the cold. What are the effects of Progynon?Doctor's answer:
Progest and can be used alone to induce ovulation, or in combination with GnRH agonists to prevent premature LH surges. In the latter case, especially when using GnRH agonists, higher doses of Progest are required to achieve an appropriate follicular response. Clinical experience with Progest comes from treating two indications for three cycles. Overall IVF experience suggests that success rates remain stable during the first four treatment cycles, then gradually decline thereafter.
