In the spring and summer, a mysterious UFO suddenly visited a Jiangnan ancient city. The appearance of the UFO brought many surprises to the people of the city, but it also disrupted the lives of middle school student Guo Zhenxin and his classmate Wenjing. Zhenxin lost his father since childhood, his mother suffers from a terminal illness, and his sister lost her job, leaving the family in extreme poverty. To maintain his studies and treat his mother, Zhenxin decides to work and earn money. During one of his trips to find medicine for his mother, Zhenxin and Wenjing meet a mysterious old woman—Grandma Wu. A series of unexpected events then unfold: Zhenxin’s mother miraculously recovers, Zhenxin reunites with his long-lost grandmother he never met before, and Wenjing is also reminded of a unforgettable childhood memory.
While telling the story, the work also conveys a serious theme to people—humans must not only protect the beautiful yet fragile land that nurtures us, Earth, but also preserve the innocence and purity of the hearts of young people.
