Patient's question:
Main symptoms: It smells after not washing for a long time. Onset time: Always been like this. Test results:Doctor's answer:
Hello, this is indeed a condition, and there is no other way; it requires frequent manual manipulation. Common methods include:(1) Choosing a properly sized bra: Avoid and correct the of tight-binding, as a small and too-tight bra can compress the breasts and affect breathing. Since women primarily rely on thoracic breathing, a tight bra is like tightening a rope around the chest, restricting respiratory movement and preventing further worsening of nipple inversion.
(2) Traction method: When nipple inversion is detected, gently pull the inverted nipple outward with fingers every morning and evening. Simultaneously, lightly massage the nipple with the thumb or index finger for 5–10 minutes each session.
(3) Compression method: Wear a smaller bra or use a 10-cm-wide cloth strip with a hole the size of the nipple in the corresponding position. After wearing the bra or cloth strip, the nipple will be pushed outward. With persistent use, the inverted nipple will protrude. Alternatively, place a walnut shell or a small ceramic wine cup on the nipple, wear the bra, and apply pressure for a while. The nipple will then become prominent.
(4) Negative pressure method: Use the barrel of a syringe or the wide end of a glass eye-dropper bottle to cover the nipple. Connect a rubber tube to the narrow end of the bottle and attach it to a large syringe. Squeeze the syringe to create negative pressure, which will compress the surrounding tissue of the nipple and make it protrude. After removing the bottle, combine traction and massage.
