To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the (commanding bat) of college entrance exams and passively engages in test-taking is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of examiners, grasp the underlying principles, and become a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems but strongly encourages students to break free from it. It opposes students from doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete essential ones. We advocate assigning students flexible and diverse problems that can be widely applied, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of solving them.
