Patient's question:
Check if it is a uterine polyp.Doctor's answer:
Hello, polyps may recur after removal of the uterus. Uterine polyps are a common gynecological disease and a clinical manifestation of chronic cervicitis. They are caused by chronic inflammation stimulating local hyperplasia of the cervical canal mucosal tissue. Due to the uterus's natural tendency to reject, the hyperplastic mucosa gradually protrudes from the base to the external cervical os, forming polypoid changes, hence also known as cervical endometrial polyps.
