What are the main manifestations of cervical inflammation

Patient's question:

I recently found that my lower body is always itchy, and my leukorrhea has also increased significantly. I always feel tired, and sometimes I also have abdominal pain. My menstrual cycle is also irregular. I suspect that I might be experiencing symptoms of cervical inflammation. I would like to know what symptoms are common with cervical inflammation?

Doctor's answer:

Hello,
1. Acute cervical inflammation, most patients are asymptomatic. Symptomatic patients mainly increased vaginal discharge, which is mucopurulent. The discharge may cause itching and burning sensation in the external genitalia. Additionally, symptoms such as intermenstrual bleeding and postcoital bleeding may occur.
2. Chronic cervical inflammation, most patients are asymptomatic. A few patients may have increased vaginal discharge, which is pale yellow or purulent, postcoital bleeding, and intermenstrual bleeding.
