Will there be errors in early ultrasound?

Patient's question:

Early MRI errors weren't very small, right? The doctor used the size of the gestational sac to calculate 36 days and then told me all this. But this way, the ovulation period isn't always accurate. Confirmation is generally about 14 days before the next period, which is roughly the ovulation period. If your last period was June 7th, and you have a 28-day cycle, your ovulation should be around the 20th. If you have a 30-day cycle, it should be around the 22nd. Taking birth control pills on the 19th should have been completely ineffective. It's said that if the embryo is still developing normally, it proves that the birth control pills didn't work. If they had, the pregnancy would have been miscarried. What does that statement mean? Was the pregnancy conceived after taking birth control pills, or was it already established before the 18th? Just explain what my doctor meant, no need to discuss how the birth control pills worked. Thank you.

Doctor's answer:

If the menstrual cycle is 28 days or 30 days, there is a time difference in ovulation, and the delivery date cannot be confirmed. Ultrasound should not be able to determine the exact delivery date, so it can only be roughly estimated based on your usual menstrual cycle or ultrasound. However, as long as the ultrasound shows that the embryo is developing well, there is no need to worry too much. Pay attention to maintaining the pregnancy, eat more nutritious foods, and avoid overly intense exercise.
