Features: Conducting a comprehensive assessment of the stability of the financial system is a fundamental task for preventing and resolving financial risks, promoting financial reform, and maintaining financial stability. It represents a comprehensive check and evaluation of the health of a country's financial system. In 1996, the Bank of England pioneered a comprehensive assessment of the stability of its own financial system and published the world's first "Financial Stability Report." Subsequently, the central banks of France, Denmark, Sweden, South Korea, Singapore, and other countries have regularly assessed their national financial systems and publicly released "Financial Stability Reports." The structure of this issue of the "China Financial Stability Report" is as follows: Part 1 summarizes the financial stability situation in China; Part 2 analyzes the impact of macroeconomic and financial operations on financial stability; Part 3 discusses the relationship between financial market development and financial stability; Part 4 explores financial industry reform and development, with a focus on analyzing institutional issues affecting financial stability and reform measures; Part 5 examines financial infrastructure and the financial ecosystem, discussing how to further improve the financial ecosystem from aspects such as the payment system, legal environment, corporate governance, accounting standards, credit environment, anti-money laundering, and the construction of the financial safety net to maintain financial stability. Interwoven throughout the report are 18 special columns that provide targeted analysis of major issues and cases related to China's financial stability. The "China Financial Stability Report" presented to readers is a preliminary attempt by the People's Bank of China to conduct a comprehensive assessment of China's financial stability. We have strived to provide as comprehensive an analysis as possible of the theoretical and practical issues related to China's financial stability.
