Features: Over thousands of years of traditional Chinese medicine development, a wealth of folk prevention and treatment methods have been accumulated. These methods have also become an important part of traditional Chinese medicine's prevention and treatment. Some folk therapies, through the collision and integration with modern technology and medical thinking, have evolved into new modern treatment methods, perhaps even becoming patented technologies, revitalizing and benefiting the people. They may even cross borders to become an important part of alternative or natural therapies in world medicine. The book takes folk therapies as its main thread, highlighting practicality, simplicity, and systematic organization. It is divided into two parts: the upper part is the Techniques Section, which lists 48 folk treatment methods, each introducing the basic concepts, origins, commonly used tools, mechanisms of action, operation methods, scope of application, contraindications, and precautions. The lower part is the Diseases Section, covering various common clinical conditions such as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology, and ophthalmology/otolaryngology. It primarily introduces the basic knowledge of each disease and its corresponding folk treatment techniques, detailing the indications, mechanisms of action, acupoints or prescriptions, methods, and precautions for each method.
