Features: Tao Xingzhi was a great social reformer and a pioneer in promoting modernization in China in the 20th century. He insisted on advancing continuous modernization through the evolving philosophy of life education. He loved the people, devoted himself wholeheartedly, combined manual and mental work, and dared to innovate. His contributions and achievements to the motherland and humanity were multifaceted. From the Complete Works, it can be seen that he covered a wide range of fields, such as political systems, economic development, social morality, international relations, science popularization, ethnic unity, religious beliefs, the promotion of new writing systems, environmental protection, and family planning, all of which he discussed with profound insights. Tao Xingzhi was also a great people's poet, whose popularized poetry "pioneered a new trend." The Complete Works includes over 800 of his poems, though not all have been collected. Of course, what stands out most is the life education theory he founded. The well-known concepts of "life as education," "society as a school," and "learning by doing" align closely with the realities and future direction of our country. The Complete Works of Tao Xingzhi consists of 12 volumes. Volumes 1 to 4 are [Essays and Works]; Volume 5 is [Teaching Materials]; Volume 6 is [English Translations and Works]; Volume 7 is [Poetry]; Volume 8 is [Letters]; Volume 9 is [Index of Letter Writers]; Volume 10 is divided into [Administrative Memoranda, Part 1 and 2]; Volumes 11 to 12 are [Supplementary Materials 1 and 2].
