How to detect in late pregnancy

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. How can I detect pregnancy in the late stages?

Doctor's answer:

Pregnancy from 28 to 40 weeks (9 to 10 months) is considered the late stage of pregnancy. During this period, prenatal check-ups should be conducted every two weeks before 35 weeks and weekly after 36 weeks. The specific check-up contents are as follows:
General examination to review medical history (gestational duration, discomfort symptoms, history of chronic diseases, genetic history, preterm labor, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, placental abruption, or placenta previa); blood pressure measurement, pulse counting, and lung auscultation; observation of facial appearance for signs of anemia; examination of lower limbs for edema.
Vaginal examination to assess any abnormalities in the birth canal.
Abdominal examination to measure abdominal circumference, fundal height, check fetal position, fetal heart rate, whether the fetal head has engaged in the pelvis, and estimate fetal size.
Pelvic measurement to determine the size of the pelvis, accurately estimating the possibility of natural delivery, the need for a cesarean section, so that both the doctor and the pregnant woman can have a clear understanding.
