Features: The research subjects of the digital divide in this study include permanent residents of Beijing and migrant workers, with a total of 1,722 valid samples distributed across Beijing's eight central districts and the four suburban counties of Tongzhou, Shunyi, Daxing, and Yanqing. The study covers 11 groups of people, including white-collar workers, blue-collar workers, self-employed individuals, college students, middle school students, primary school students, the elderly, laid-off workers/ unemployed/ unemployed/ housewives, farmers, people with disabilities, and migrant workers. This report constructs an indicator system and evaluation system to measure the digital divide, describes the current status, characteristics, and causes of the digital divide in Beijing, and proposes strategies, measures, and policy recommendations to further reduce the digital divide in Beijing, based on the actual work of informatization in Beijing.
